National Top Club(Men’s)-16th August

Garston lost to Worcester BC in the quarter finals of the Top Club at Worthing by 2 rinks to 3.

National Top Club(Men’s)-5th August

Garston have been drawn against Worcester BC in the quarter finals of the Top Club at Worthing at 2.30 pm on Tuesday 16th August

Garston go to Worthing-1st August

Garston won the Area play offs in the National Top Club against Romford last night with a nail biting finish. Needing to win the fours and one down on the last end Garston were holding three with the Romford skip requiring a draw for them to qualify. He was two foot short and Garston won by 3 rinks to 2.

They are now through to the final eight at Worthing with the first match on Tuesday 16th August at 2.30 pm

County Top Team-31st July

Garston won their first trophy this season by beating Roebuck in a very dramatic finish in the semi finals and then went on to beat Harpenden 4 - 0 in the final.

Big Weekend ahead for the Men-28th July

Saturday 30th at 10 am Garston play Roebuck BC at Welwyn & District BC in the semi-finals of the County Top Team and if successful play in the finals at Shire Park BC in the afternoon. On Sunday at 1.30 pm Martin Coles and Gary Edwards play in the County pairs final at Welwyn & District BC and then at 6 pm Garston play Romford in the Area play-offs of the National Top Club at Garston, winners go to Worthing in the final 8.

Garston play Romford BC at home in the Area play-offs on Sunday 31st July at 6.00 pm

County Top Team-18th July

After a successful morning Garston followed with a 4 rinks to 0 win against Potten End to reach the Semi Finals to be played on Saturday 30th July at either Welwyn & District BC or Welwyn Garden City BC.

National Top Club(Men’s)-17th July

Garston qualify for the Area Play-offs (last 16) after beating Kent Athletic Bowls Club this morning  by 4 rinks to 1. They play Romford at home.

St George’s Social-27th March

St George’s Social on Saturday 23rd April at the Clubhouse. Starts at 7.00 pm food and drink available. £2.50 a head.

Subs Night-27th March

Subs Night is on 1st April at the Clubhouse from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. Come and meet us and see what is happening this year. Refreshment available.

Bowls Provision-18th January

Last night the Council’s Cabinet agreed to put to the full council next week our proposal to maintain our own green. This proposal is in conjunction with Watford (Cassio) and North Watford Bowls Clubs. Update next week.
